A complete Garmin helm refit with a rebuilt NMEA 2000 backbone and documented network map.

The owner had intermittent chartplotter dropouts and an autopilot that lost heading data under way. Previous installs had been daisy-chained off a single overloaded drop with no terminators at the ends of the run.
We stripped the legacy network back to bare hull, designed a properly terminated NMEA 2000 backbone with dedicated drops, and rebuilt the helm around new Garmin displays. All harnesses were re-run in loom, labeled at both ends, and power was moved to a fused, isolated distribution point.
No dropouts across sea trial and the following season. The owner received a network map and label schedule, so the next technician can service the system without re-diagnosing it.
